The industry information department of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) released data through WeChat public number on the 9th, showing that from January to August 2024, the export of automobile complete vehicles was 4,094,000 units, an increase of 27.3% year-on-year; and the value of the export amounted to US$76.08 billion, an increase of 19.9% year-on-year.

According to the data compiled by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) from General Administration of Customs (GAC), in August 2024, 610,000 complete automobiles were exported, up 10.4% from a year earlier and 39.5% from the same period last year, while the export value reached US$10.92 billion, up 9.4% from a year earlier and 32.7% from the same period last year. Imports of complete automotive vehicles were 76,000 units, up 8.2 per cent sequentially and 1.6 per cent year-on-year; the value of imports was US$4.27 billion, down 1.6 per cent sequentially and 0.9 per cent year-on-year.

From January to August 2024, exports of complete automotive vehicles amounted to 4.094 million units, up 27.3 per cent year-on-year; the value of exports reached US$76.08 billion, up 19.9 per cent year-on-year. Imports of complete automotive vehicles were 478,000 units, down 1.8 per cent year-on-year; the value of imports was US$27.24 billion, down 8.1 per cent year-on-year.
